John 3:16-18
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
 

 

God's Simple Plan of Salvation

All have sinned:
Romans 3:23
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

The penalty of sin is death:
Romans 6:23
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Penalty must be paid:
Hebrews 9:27
"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment;"

The penalty was paid by Christ:
Romans 5:8
"But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Salvation is a free gift:
Ephesians 2:8-9
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is a gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

You must accept to be saved:
Romans 10:13
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
